Welcome to

Marlborough

Aotearoa New Zealand’s largest wine region is famous for its crisp, fruit-driven Sauvignon Blanc.

An extensive glacial braided river system has deposited deep, free-draining soils across the various sub-regions, creating the perfect environment to successfully grow a wide range of grape varieties.

Cool and crisp

Climate

Sheltered by high country to the west, south and parts of the east, and open to the Cook Strait in the north, Marlborough experiences bright, chilly winter months followed by long, dry summers.

Marlborough is New Zealand’s sunniest region with 2,435 hours of sunshine. Summer temperatures range from 20°C to 26°C, with winter temperatures ranging from 10°C to 15°C.

Diverse

Varietals

International demand for Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc has allowed the region’s wine industry to blossom. In recent years, Marlborough has seen newer varietals from this region flourish, such as Chardonnay and Pinot Gris, and in particular Pinot Noir.

Beautiful with a diverse climate that produces fruit driven, full flavour wines

THIS IS MARLBOROUGH

Regional charatistics

Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc

We produce a wide range of Sauvignon Blanc wines, all from the Marlborough region. With incredible vineyards located throughout Marlborough, each site gives us a wine of its own style.

Awatere Valley

Awatere Sauvignon Blanc is on the pungent, green side of the spectrum, producing crisp, focused and mineral wines with herbaceous, citrus flavours, and a lip smacking salinity.

Wairau Valley

The style of Sauvignon Blanc from the Wairau Valley is ripe and tropical; a pungent style of passionfruit and guava notes that leap out of the glass.
